The music we play is straight from the heart of the centuries-old but still living Irish tradition... jigs, reels, hornpipes, marches, slow airs, etc., and songs sung in both English and Irish (Gaeilge). This is music that's been given to us over our many years of music making, and we now have the honor of presenting it to our audiences, keeping the tradition alive and ringing down through the years.
The group was formed in 2006, and we've brought our music to audiences in the US and Canada, performing at concerts and festivals from coast to coast. Click here to see where we've been.
We also offer workshops in Irish Fiddle, Guitar Accompaniment, Irish Song, and Button Accordion. Also James is often asked to deliver his highly regarded lecture "Walking With Giants", which tells the story of his growing up in Dublin and the many "giants" of Irish music of the time.
